Can Pace swap a steerer tube on RC41’s?

I’ve got a pair of RC41’s on my old Klein, and I cut the steerer to size for that frame.

Now I’m looking swap the frame out for an older Klein, but the head tube is quite a bit longer so the steerer is too short.

I’m wondering if I contact Pace and sent them off to them, could they/would they swap the steerer for me.

Don’t really want to buy a new pair of forks

No mate, they're pressed in on the 41's, not replaceable like the old ones. You'll need a full steerer/crown/stanchion set up and I think you'd be lucky to find one new. You can get steerers extended though.

Have a word with @danson67 he's swapped a few Rockshox press in steerers for me, all of which are going strong, creak free, after a few years of use.
I don't know if the same is possible with Pace but it's worth asking. :)

If you can get a steerer with the correct tolerance at the interface then it should be easy enough for a decent tuner like Sprung or JTech to replace it with a longer one.

Often the tube is sleeved so sits inside the existing one. Pinned through and welded at the joint and the pin. Well I've seen a few examples of that.

I've also had a steerer pressed out and replaced and that worked. I'd prefer that option.

Of for the days of replaceable steerers.
