How do camel backs work on fizzy hop based beverages. Ive often thought of using one to sneak my own cheaper/better beer into festivals by wearing a smaller camel back under my shirt

As long as you don't do too much moshing/ pogoing you'll be okay.

you'd need to 'bleed' it periodically else all the gas will make it expand till bursting point! You need to burp your 'bak

Have experimented with this.

You need to insulate the tube from the bladder to the mouth valve otherwise the coffee thats in the tube will get very cold very quickly. It also helps to wrap foil around your bladder.

I seem to remember that they made an insulating sleeve for the tubes didn't/don't they?

If you get a platapuss bladder, you can microwave and freeze them. but the small neck makes them hard to clean soup out of! I KNOW!
