Looks very Raleigh to me. The bleached out stickers look like the RSP designed ones too. Which they would be if it's Reynolds tubing.

501-too flexy, OK for road though. Raleigh used 525 or K2 a lot on MTB's. or could be just plain 4130, but nothing wrong with that.

It came up on a freecycle.org (that's as in recycling unwanted stuff, not just bicycles but anything!!) post a couple of weeks ago and I only just spotted it today, so probably gone now... have emailed owner anyway

Altus A10 chainset says low end, and I'd agree with everyone else - Raleigh. If it's more than £10 then it's overpriced
