can anybody help me with this bike

Hi can anybody help me identify this mountain bike it has kona stickers on it but I don't think it is one, it has a mixture of ritchey and deore lx xt and xtr equipment thanks for all your help

not a kona. Kona have never had a wishbone on the rear that I am aware of.

Not sure what it is though.

Could be a mid nineties muddy fox? Ignoring components, it looks very similar to my Monarch Team, but mine doesn't have ritchey branded dropouts.
 
So its not worth spending any money on lol it don't owe me much anyway I paid 20 pound for it and 25 to get it working just wondered whether it was worth doing up
 
Looks good for £45. Just degrease it all and give it a proper clean, lose the kona stickers and ride and enjoy it. XT stuff is decent, should work a treat.

The wishbones had me thinking about Giant for a second. However the ritchey dropouts and the cable guide around the seat tube quickly dismissed that thought.

Whatever it is, you did good. That's a real bargain. A little cleaning and some elbow grease should turn that into a very good bike.

I'll lock the thread in the 98+ section for you because the answer is much more likely to be found here. It's an early to mid 90's bike after all.
