can any1 strip and polish My PACE RC100 Frame?????????

just wondering if it is possibe to get my Rc100 frame stripped and polished by some body here or any one can point me on the right direction???
as it has it's Factory colour and it's age is showing with some scratches and bubbles here and there.
would it cost me an arm and a leg to Strip/polish????

would any body have Decal's and transfer's for RC100????

I Need a Head Tube Tag for this frame too.

I assume it's ano rather than paint?

Gil_M on here can do repro decals for just about anything chap

Anodising won't flake off, but it will ware through it's an electrochemical process that actually changes the first few microns of the alloy.

Weren't the RC100's powder coated grey though? :?

If it's powder coat or paint, you can do DIY. Just use Nitromors to remove the old paint and them medium wire wool and soapy water. Finish it off with brasso or t-cut then when your happy a couple of coats of quality car polish.
Any scratches or marks requiring more effort can be removed with wet dry paper of varying grades first.

If it's anodised then you need an acid dip (caustic soda is used for small parts). For an RC100 frame I think I'd pay someone rather than mess it up me self.

Original Pace frames were anodised exclusively AFAIK...anodising is where the frame is dipped in acid and the frame having an electrical current passed through it and then dyed.......paint is just paint.

If yours is red ano then its probably a Team Issue.....
