BTW how are you getting on with the new bus?

really like it, driving it is fun, it's not too slow but i'm defo gonna chip it anyway. looked into wheels today aswel so thats on the cards for next month. i've modded the back abit to take bikes but it's only a temp job till it gets properly fitted out later in the year.

really pleased overall :D :D

Cool, your thread kinda kickstarted an interets. Are you going dayvan or camper type?

at the moment it is a panel van but i'm gonna remove the bulkhead from behind the front seats, then fit rear seats, 2 or 3 haven't decided yet, then put a bulkhead behind the rear seats. fit windows for the rear seats then carpet right throught the back. also change the 3 seats upfront for 2 captain seats. got loads of time to do it all though, so no rush. driving to morzine in august so leaving the back alone till after then as i'm taking all the bikes for everyonelse.

basically i'm building what vw call a multivan, but in my own style and for a lot less money! :D

Guilty as charged m'lud

Probably just as well the tent was treated with something that makes it a bit fire retardant, although after that little incident I can't help but thinking retard retardant would be more useful.

If you must use an airbed - put a closed cell foam mat under it or you will be cold 8) ---even in a van

i'd think about lining the wals with some sort of fire resistant foam board. It can get damn cold inside an uninsulated van :?
