camping supplies!

obviousley mayhem is not to far away now,

i have started checking my stuff ready for the weekend of fun!

so far i have:-

big van
loads of bikes
tent
wind break thing
folding table chair/bench thing
basic stove thing
lantern
inflatable mattress/sleeping bag
12v pump for mattress
tool kit


what else do i need?

what do you always take? i don't camp very often so it would be good to get some ideas of other stuff i need!

something to do when its dark..i took a whole bunch of reading mags,me psp with loads of films onboard and a crate of junk food..or take 1 of these with you..i did it in 3 hours or so....

there are 793 ish stickers and would take me forever to swap em...anyhoo heres a piccie..


oh if you take a pile of bricks you could have a proper fire which when camping cant be beaten..

Have a seperate bag for your stinky trolleys ect.........preferably airtight!

A stout bladed knife is always a useful thing to have when camping. Oh and check your tent pegs are there...I say that from experience

Other stuff:

Sun cream.
Inspect repellent.
Pillow (Im feeling my age)
Your wife/girlfriend (not a great idea to forget this item)

Pah! Who needs peri peri when you can simply take a weeks supply of donner kebab pot noodles!

I should have pointed out, that if you do forget the wife/girlfriend item, it may be possible to borrow one from another tent if you ask nicely, so Im told.
