Hi, just trying to place the SR Apex chainset in my mind.

Is it a single piece spider and crank with a BCD of 130? SR were cagey about what they stamped Apex on but they did a 130 Shimano copy.

If so then dibs as they say.

Confused with the bcd measurements
I have 130/135 and 144 bcd rings
None of them fit
This set has a 40/52 tooth rings
Very strange
Any ideas

Hi Malc.

It's how SR used the "Apex" name, they semed to have no logical basis on which cranks they stamped them on............ Certainly a nice looking crankset but 1977 may be a bit early as a date?
