Campagnolo Record Titanium 9 Speed Groupset - Minty
Possibly the prettiest groupset ever made. This example has done less than 300 miles in its life and condition reflects that.
This set comprises shifters, front mech (28.6mm band on), rear mech (titanium bits), chainset (170mm 39/53 rings), bottom bracket, brake callipers, cassette (12-23), wheels (inc skewers), Sachs PC91 chain and Campagnolo cables set. Full descriptions and photographs below.
Shifters: virtually unmarked, no wear to hoods, carbon BB system. If I bought these as new I'd have no complaints.
Front mech: 28.6mm band on, light scuffs inside the cage, no damage to the band.
Rear mech: 1 15mm scratch on top of the cage, main body like new. Some scratches from normal chain running, jockey wheels in very very good shape.
Chainset: few light marks, from pedal installation I'd guess. Chainrings (39/53) show virtually no wear, there are inevitably marks from use though.
Bottom bracket: the text on the sticker is coming off but the BB itself seems perfect. It's 102mm long by my quick measure, the right length for the double chainset anyway. Carbon fibre shell.
Brake callipers: virtually unmarked, pads show light signs of use.
Cassette: 13/23 largest 3 cogs are titanium I believe, they are on a separate carrier. Less than 300 miles use.
Wheels: beautiful hubs, unmarked. 32 Sapim double butted stainless steel spokes on each. Rims – grey Mavic Open Pro SUP rims. The anodising has started to come off on one side of braking surface more than other on both wheels, this is in line with < 300 miles use. The hubs could be stripped from the rims to save on postage if they're to be sent internationally. SOLD
Tyres: Vittoria Pro TeamTecno Twin Tread 700 x 20c PRB Kevlar 3D compound. The sidewalls are starting to split so you may want to replace these. These may be removed to reduce cost of shipping if these are going overseas. SOLD
Skewers: one end of the rear skewer is scuffed, otherwise excellent condition. SOLD
Chain: Sachs PC 91 – Less than 300 miles use.
Cables: Full set of cables from XL bike so may be reused on most bikes. I can't verify the authenticity of the inner cables as they are unbranded but the outers are all branded Campagnolo.
Let me know if I've missed anything. I've got more photos, send me an email address and I'll mail you some more, higher res if required.
Wheels, tyres and skewers SOLD
Rest of groupset - £700 collected from Brighton (much preferred!) SOLD
UK Shipping £27. USA, Canada, Japan, Australia shipping is £85. Europe shipping £42. If you have details of cheaper carriers I'll happily look at them, insurance of at least £700 will be needed though.
