Hi,

What marks this out different to a Centaur one?, I have a few Centaur ones and I can't see any difference?

Cheers, Ash.

The greaseport also featured on the Centaur and Olympus rear's. Only the Record OR front hubs had them though.

Personally I don't think this is a Rec OR as it doesn't have the countersunk spoke holes, lovely though it is.

Sure, but that doesn't make it a Rec OR.
The absence of countersunk spoke holes makes me think it's a Centaur or Olympus (probably the same).
There's probably very little difference anyway, they is all good! :D

looks nice but what makes me wonder is the silver spacer, makes me wonder if it's a road hub converted to mtb with a longer axle and an extra spacer to make if fit an mtb, so it would look like a record hub but fit an mtb

I think the spacer's fine - all the Campag MTB hubs I've had had them.
Knowing Campag, they were more than likely much the same as their road hubs anyway, just with longer axles (+maybe bearing seals) - my Olympus rear is pretty much identical to same-period Chorus..

It seems silly that the folks at Serotta would have substituted a "lower quality" and out of date hub with the rest of this kit.
But debate on if you must.
