Campagnolo Record headset bearing size

been faffing on with the bearings in my Norman Fay headset and the bearing races I have either hit the headtube bearing surface or the race gets coaught between the headtube bearing surface and the cup as its screwed down.

I looked for loose bearings and theses are either too big or too small...

ebay prices are bizarre so what size do I need?

Yes 3/16 I think...that seems to be what's in my S.record anyway. Better get a second opinion though!

Yes - 3/16. 2 races of 20 balls each for Record road.

Campagnolo part number 2101 - apparently manufactured to a tolerance of a tolerance of `1/1000 mm'.

These are the same bearings as for Super Record road. Super Record track, Record track and Gran Sport road had 2 x 25 loose balls of 5/32", part 2102.
