Hang on, are the inner two rings held on with a lockring and also attached together? I was about to say (in a it's really not important but they would look nicer way) that he should rotate the inner rings round a bolt or two for a bit of symmetry down the line of the crank arm but that was before I saw how they are attached

you can orientate them differently, they move round.

I can see that I was just surprised by the way they were attached.

ETA - and wondered why that was chosen over chainring bolts, seems a bit old fashioned
