Just after the U-shaped retaining clip, but would take the whole bolt plus clip if available.

To suit 9/10 speed rear mech.

Hi, that's an ordinary C clip available from engineering fasteners suppliers or e-bay even, they are designated by the diameter of the shaft groove they clip into and also sometimes the thickness of the groove, worth looking as they are dirt cheap without the Campy name.

Nice idea However, I have no idea what diameter I need and have no accurate measuring device. Anyone with an idea?

Hi, In the past I've taken the part i want a c clip etc for and they have thier own measureing tools to determine the correct part for you. I did look on ebay this morning and one seller gives a diagram of where measurements are are based from.

clip size

If it's any help it's 1.7mm thick and for an internal diameter of 7mm, shimano also use the same size as far as I can tell.
