This will be easy for those who know, but I'm struggling to identify some Campagnolo parts. How do I tell if they are record or chorus etc...

And as a bonus question who can Identify the bike in question, I do know this one :)

5-arm cranks with self-extracting bolts are either Croce D'Aune or Chorus from a few years later.

Don't know about the headset.

Hi Zed :-) Had a similar chat recently over this type of crank question on this thread http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... t=#1213026.

This should answer your crank question :-) Headset is Athena OR Chorus there is nowt between them anyways, as far as I'm concerned, both are the same headsets with different names.

Got both, on different bikes and yet the 2 headsets are identical. Its another of Campagnolo's games to give people headaches :- Later buddy, Laz.

The headset is a C-Record. Lightened steel upper frame cup and no engraved line around the adjustable cup. There should be a bllack plastic dust seal for the lower cup that is easily damaged. It came in two sizes , one with a smaller lower frame cup with smaller bearings in it ( I think it was for the first gen Delta brake set ). I'll give you a fiver for it

And this I believe is Nuovo Record ?

that headset is chorus...C Record was single angle side profile, whereas the chorus headset had stepped upper and lower alloy sections...like yours.
