Not seen one of those for a while

Are your high flange hubs from the 80's (they should be date stamped as you know on the nuts) as the straight skewers had been replaced by then ?

Actually, I simply dipped my hands into my Campagnolo parts box and this lot came out, pressed them all together with a bit of glue and tape and voila, this is the result.

Bizarre as it may seem to you, I do actually know what I'm selling. Straight blades died out around 82, they still appeared on new bikes well into mid 80's. Don't believe all you read on Velobase. Do I pass?

Apologies Shaun, I realise now that I did deploy a certain level of early morning snarkiness in my previous post.

I'll come clean, I only aged these rather lazily based onmy knowledge of what I've seen before. The rest of the NR kit that these hubs came from were consistent to an 80's bike i.e. rear mech without the opening parallelagram, 3-hole f/mech etc so assumed the same for the hubs. Won't do the sales pitch on you but these are as clean as any I've had through my garage in years.

No offence taken, at all, sorry again for being abrupt.

Seems like the hubs are getting quite a bit of interest with several different bidders at the moment. The latest bidder has a 30 day history of buying a lot of retro bike stuff. I'll see what the next day brings but they look like a pretty clean set of hubs and will likely go out of my price bracket............which is good news for your bank balance

Thanks Shaun, I doubt they'll go much higher to be honest but it's always good when items do better than expected.
