Campagnolo 8 speed hubs

Looking to service my rear 8 speed vento wheel's hub.
Came across a 90s 8 speed chorus hub as a doner for parts that looks pretty identical, bar the spoke hole count and oil port.
Does anyone know the interchangeability between the internals of these hubs? Is it likely to be ok and worth a shot or is it a complete no no?

Not really an expert with this sort of stuff so if I'm being too vague let me know

I'm pretty sure the service manuals with parts numbers for both of these are in the archive section. Have a look and you should be able to determine the parts numbers for all parts of each hub - if they're the same then they use the exact same parts, if they're not the same they still might be interchangeable.
