Campag/Shimano

Can they be mixed and matched? I don't mean physically, but morally? There seems an inordinate amount of campag rimmed XTR hubbed wheels about. Not solely restricting this thread to mtb, would you do it with roadie stuff?

Campag ergos, shimano mechs and cassettes.

Kaiser, if you had your way you'd destroy the Italian mtb industry.
Cant put jap components on italian bikes, what nonsense
Campagnola are just a component manufacturer same as any other.
I like Campag and Miche for their quality especially in headsets and will happily mix with jap or any other nations parts.
