Are they 8 speed, 9 speed or did they appear as both during transition?
Not in the position to count the clicks which would tell me.
If 9 speed are they new or old 9 speed pull?

Re:

In the old shape pointy-top style, they were available both 8 and 9-speed.

In the newer rounded top style, they were 9-speed only.

If they actually say Record Titanium on them, then they are the old style pointy ones. The old style pointy ones say Record Titanium on the left lever, and the same on the right lever for the 8-speed, the 9-speed say Record Titanium 9-speed on the right lever.

Unless they're the significantly newer carbon levered ones, then they're the old 9-speed pull ratio.

The round top style levers just say Record on them and Carbon-BB-system on the plastic body.

Make sure you see a picture before buying, and compare it to the catalogue photos in the archive section. You often see stuff sold as Record Titanium or Super Record that isn't.

Old pointy ones like my others. Didn't give that info as I knew they were of that era. Sorry. Can't be bothered to go and look at the writing. Tomorrow. . Had them for years. I'll take a guess then and assume that if 9 speed they will be old 9 pull not new. That's what I really need to know actually as that's the same as 8 so either mechs I have will work and the new pull versions can stay on the other bikes.
