Campag are laying off 40% of it's workforce. They've lost €24,000,000 since 2023.

Not surprising, they seem to have no idea of what the market either wants or needs.... Super-mega-record-13 speed electric might be great, but at that price, who is really going to buy it? Without something to compete well at the Shimano 105 OEM level, the vast majority of cyclists aren't even going to know they exist

Does anyone buying a new bike even care what make the group set is anymore? Price point; stack and reach; colour; maybe frame material; delivery options; tyres. The groups all work the same and are all price point related so who cares?

(Incidentally, who knew how small Campag is in terms of numbers of staff?)

Hardly surprising with the crap designs of there groupsets & overpricing everything as they try to get greedy…. Really who wants 13speed cassettes everything get thinner & the stresses & fatigue on the metal increases which will lead to failures unexpectedly thst could have a rider end up in hospital or worse…..10/11 speed is probably the sweet spot & don't follow the sheep or lemmings…..

Agreed, lack of vision and producing ugly, overpriced crap will kill most businesses.
