campag 10 speed cassette for shimano freehub (ambrosio, etc)

Has anyone got one they don't need, preferably little used?

Or can anyone confirm if an ambrosio cassette with 10 speed campag spacing and shimano splines will fit on a Sachs New success cassette hub?

Proper "hard" questions like this are one of the reasons I love retrobike more than any other cycling forum.

I think in theory it should work, since the cassette is designed for shimano 8/9/10 speed freehub bodies, and the Sachs takes a shimano 8 s cassette with no problem. I do know that not all shimano compatible freehubs are the same though (mavic for one are slightly different).

So I'd prefer to know for sure before buying a new cassette, or at least be able to try it with a cheaper than new one!

Will let you know the answer when I find it!
