I have a problem. My downhilling son (14) has a FOX 40 fork. So far so good. Problem is, we need a lower rate spring, and while FOX can be great a company, they took the decision to dis-allow any purchase of FOX40 springs in the EU. This seems irresponsible in respect of the environment. Good for FOX regarding selling lots of air kits and new forks. Bad for us who like coil sprung forks. I contacted Worldwide Cyclery in the 'States and they said 'Yup...we have the 35lb and 30lb springs you want...but our agreement with FOX means we can't ship them outside the US...'. Drat. Also, it appears there are loads of purple (35lbs) and black (30lb) springs secondhand in the USA, but few people are prepared to ship them to the UK. Can any US retrobikers help out? I'd like to hear from you if you could.....thanks in advance.
