Calling cannondale experts

Hi,

I'm restoring a 92 Cannondale M500 for my father. It came with a 1" (I think) steel fork and was thinking I could put an alu pepperoni fork on seeing as it is all going to be resprayed anyway. Do pepperoni forks come in 1"? Would the steel fork be 1/1/4? Would be weird I would have thought if the M500 and the more upmarket models had different sized headtubes?

Hi

I think there was 1" threaded Pepperonis in some 1990 and 1991 models. So it's possible, but first have to find one, which might not be too easy.
