Cable Cutters - Recommendations ?

If you buy from a bicycle specific design, you are getting something designed to cut 2mm cable.

If you buy non-specific you get something designed for all bowden cables, probably up to 3 & 4 mm

Tell me which will last longer.

Cable cutters apply pressure around a higher percentage of the circumference and thus will have less chance of fraying than those cut with pliers.

I use a set of Knipex wire rope cutters, will cut up to 6mm rope so are perfect for inners and outers. Lovely clean cut too. Trust me im an engineer.

I use my gilbow tinsnips. cleanest cut evaaaarr, but at over £30 they are probably overkill for most DIY'ers to snip a few bits of wire with, but I work with sheetmetal for a living sooo.....
