Buying older IMacs?

Re:

Its always a gamble with second user computer kit but that looks a good bundle for the money. I run imacs and they are pretty bomb proof, I think the oldest I have is 2009 and its still used everyday. Out of 4 imacs one had a hard drive fail but they can be replaced for around £150.

The only thing I wouldn't do on an older mac is run OSX El Capitan. I see the one in the link has a clean install of El Capitan but there's lots of forums where people report it being very slow. I've deliberately not updated our older macs. You could remove it and reinstall the system software it had originally, probably Snow Leopard or Mountain Lion.
