I'm currently volunteering in the west midlands and I'm proposing a volunteer event in a council owned brown field site in a residential area with a fairly bad reputation. So far I've had a pretty positive response from the public and the potential funders so I really need to start looking like I know what I'm doing!
I have a basic idea for the site, basically it's going to be fairly small scale dirt jumps (probably table-top style) with the possibility of a sizeable slope for run-ups/slow-downs and maybe some pump/ruts. The problem really is that I only have a very basic idea of how buld these things (the large slope already exists, it just need clearing and compacting) so if anyone here knows of any good places or people to get advice it would be really appreciated!
