Buckley Brothers Frame

Retro Newbie
I have a Buckley Brothers frame and front forks that I believe were made in the 1930's but could be wrong about the date
The metal badge in the headstock tube gives their address as 61 Dartmouth Road Forest Gate London

Its VERY light weight probably not much over 1kg
There are serial number punched into the frame and forks

I would very much like to learn more about the manufacturers and the frame.
Would it have any value?
Thanks
OBNS :)

Did you post in road forum as well ?

I finally bought a Buckley off a well known auction site 2 years ago. The second one I had seen in 30 years. I am now looking for one that actually fits me.

They were famous for the triangular chain-stays which they introduced as an option in 1937. Veteran-Cycle Club book has more information.
If yours is pre-war then i'd be looking for concave milled seat-stay top-eyes and a head-clip.

I just picked up one as well from the UK a 1930's Clubman A.G. frame and fork. There is a copy of a brochure and some other info on https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... rC2piA1xLc I am trying to locate a headbage and or transfers which are imposible to find as the bikes are so rare. If you look in the brochure it talks about all the types of front and rear forks are available. Mine has tapered chain stays. Cheers Rob
