Brooklyn Machine Works Brakes - help please

I suspect these are BMX brakes but i bought them anyway as they were only 10quid!!

anyone know anything about them

I think they are mtb brakes. I remember seeing a pic on MBA on an Interbike article. 1999 or 1998 if I'm not wrong.

By the way if they are SNOT's they are supposed to work pretty well and

cost a small fortune

I'd guess the plate thing is for running 26 or 24" wheels - Brooklyn did this on there 'park' bike I think.

i've emailed brooklyn but also found some set up instructions on the web. so hopefully i'll get them up and running. from 1994 i think!!
