Broken Helmet

Just before going out for a spin today I tried on my E2, wiggled it a bit on my head and the bit in the helmet shell where the roc-loc snaps into, snapped.
It's the snap fixing near the front.
It pops back in but as soon as it goes on my head it pops back out
Does anyone know of a safe glue to use as the helmet looks brand new and has been rarely worn as I've used my other helmet.
It's out of warranty as it's approx 4 years old.
Any help/advice is good.

unfortunately this is a common problem with highend Giros.

The irony is that lower end giros use a band that runs all the way around the helmet
so your head stays in the middle of the helmet instead of getting shoved to the front of the helmet.

One potential fix for your woes is..
put a small piece of double-sided carpet tape over the hole (not much bigger than the hole)
push the stub into the hole which will take the carpet tape into the hole
the extra girth will help it to stay in as well as the sticky-ness.
also once its in the hole keep pressure on it (to keep it in the hole)
while pulling the retention band toward the back of the helmet as the hole it lightly key-holed and this should help it clip into place.

hope that helps.
