British TV

What is wrong with British TV?

Watching "The One Show" and they have England's PM on.

But they are still doing all their usual schtik.

Why not spend thirty minutes talking to the guy and asking him questions?

The One Show isn't exactly heavyweight current affairs, though - I guess that sort of thing is best left to the likes of Paxman and Humphrys. Still, at least switching on The One Show these days doesn't mean being confronted by a spud-faced WBA supporter. ;)

I was hoping for an intelligent version of the The 11 O'Clock Show, but it's like a (barely) updated version of it.

Funnily enough (or not) Jimmy Carr, Charlie Brooker and Robert Mitchell were all on or wrote for The 11 O'Clock Show. What goes around...

Without its greatest asset, Ricky.

Absolutely!

At least we can all unite behind our common hatred for the monotone chubby.

Half an hour of that smarmy git talking b****** to a pair of fawning plebs, was far too much for me to take. So I made a cocktail of thick bleach and lime cordial to numb the pain, It didn't. Although I have a very shiny tongue that has a tangy after glow!!

al, still not cycling, Cornwall. :D

Grins.

Neil has a point.

In my opinion the US does satire much better these days.

Even the entertainment biased late night shows have a good amount of political flavour.

David Mitchell should have his own show.

Brooker was a legend for Nathan Barley.

He has now been revealed as just as pompous and given to pretension as the characters he had in his sights.
