My neighbour recently passed away and his daughter, knowing I ride bikes quite a bit, offered me his old bikes otherwise they were going to go in a skip.
One of his bikes is a British Eagle Touristique, 23” frame. It was very dusty and I have cleaned it up a little. There is some minor surface rust in a couple of places, with original paint and decals.
It rides surprisingly well and gear changes are very smooth.
Once I have fully cleaned it up I am looking to sell it and donate the cash to my neighbours charity.
I would appreciate your views on it, what you think it might be worth and best place to sell it.
