From around 1987-ish, 531ST without a single dent. For a change. Suntour drop-outs.

Rusty crusty and with a 26.8mm post in a 27.2mm hole, stupid plastic SKF BB which disintegrated at the merest touch.

Not sure what colour, original colour is easy to replicate but I also quite fancy:

Parts will be a mix of DX and XT depending on what I find. Rolls saddle already in place with a nice copper coloured 27.2mm post.

Holy resurrection - did you ever get this done? Reason I ask is one of my own in the stable...looking for inspiration . And some decals like those....

I couldnt get on with the very low BB. I did fit some 27" wheels and it made little difference so back into the RB maelstrom it went
