British Eagle Touristique low rider rack attachments.

Well, the forks are off and stripped and ready to be dealt with. I don't have the equipment to drill and/or braze the fork "inners/eyes" myself, have so far located three people that can do the job....nearest is 100 miles away !
I would like to think that this is a "bread and butter" job for a traditional frame builder.
I've seen the low-rider racks on elderly Condor, Dawes frames etc with exactly the same set-up, and they look fine.
Funny thing about all this is the fact that a friend (who knows nothing about bikes) actually found the hand painted 23" frame (with its decals removed and 531st decals painted over) dumped in a garden, I noticed the cantilever brakes and touring eyes etc and thought this might be an interesting project....not having the faintest idea what brand it was !
Anyhow, after some paint stripping and a bit of research, I was quite pleased to find out what I'd got....for nothing !
