I sold mine a few months ago for just over a third of that price, and imho mine was in much nicer condition... :roll:

I remember exactly that these were £800 bitd, with full m732/5 groupo, back in like 91/2.

My mate bought one brand new, and I lusted after one...

They're lovely, but not 1200 quid lovely.. :x

Well you learn something new every day.
I only remember the British Eagle as cast iron BSOs sold in Argos.
Suppose they must have gone the way of Muddy Fox etc.
