Those cranks against that paint does a lot for me! Definitely the DX wheel and tyre combo as the black, black and few spokes make the bike look messy…some how

I'm humming and harring with the XT crank arms,i'm tempted to go back to the original Sugino crank arms,or a set which have just popped into my head that i've had lying around for donkeys
I'm with you on the 16 spoke wheels the bike suddenly lost the wow factor when i put the black tyres on, i was a bit meh!
Sticking with those black DX hubbed wheels, i was right the first time lol

New Dia Compe brake cable day with the must have gold lettering

Maybe need to fine tune the length on the front outer cable for neatness but i'm liking the look with gold lettering.
And bit of a long shot but does anyone have a Dia Compe straddle in black or know where there's some new ones for sale,i only seem to have one of them.

Looks like a perfect colour match to the titanium bars aswell so that's all good.
