Bridal paths finally being cleared after 16 years !!!

Just been down to the local bike shop................as far as they know it is the Forestry and the council doing it by themselves !!!! no pressure groups involved or anything........ just them ! And even better it is over the whole of the Dyfi valley area so i was told. (if correct) WOW............ :D :D :D

I spent a week in corris a few years back, some quality trails around there, awesome that theres going to be even more :)

There truly are some great trails here..............it will be a nice mixture of built trails (bit tame) and hoofer trails, some of which were fantastic and the old motorcycle trails (only used about twice a year) which get cleaned every time there's an event................i'm getting all of a glow again about it all.

Yup near to them................worked for my user name for some time ! Did a small stint in an Aber cycle shop too.

Which one?

I used to live above a bike shop in Aber, I built my Kona while I was there - about '98

After doing 5 years in another shop(happy friendly times)................i went to the competition, Summit cycles / Coed y brenin for a season, after what i'd been used to i didn't find it a pleasurable experience ! How shops look and how they are out back can be very different let's say.

If it was 98 you say, might have been Neil's shop............didn't know him well but went ridding with him once in coed y brenin.......he'd just had a new AMP bike from his sponser, and i was still on rigid front end and so was my mate....

I was intrigued when I saw this post as I thought a bridal path was the walk up the aisle, whilst a bridle path was for MTBs and horses?

The shop was in town, bottom of the hill and then along a bit, on the right. I can't remember the name of the guy who owned it. (or the name of the street I lived on, but it has been 10 years since I've visited)
