a breezer?,,,, on ebay god i would never have found that

I know you would of seen it....but not everyone is an ebay fanatic.I just want half a chance on a breezer lightning...it's the only bike i've ever really wanted..... Once i've bought it, this is over..I wont need to buy another retro part or bike ever again....

and it being posted here guarantees the price doubles from what it might of been....

dude, if you want it go big! ebay is a sellers paradise not a buyers! theres masses of people looking for typos & bad listings, refreshing every 5mins & scouring for a good buy. unless its a very poorly advertised listing, then definitely most people will have seen it already!
if you want a breezer cheap then ebay ISNT the place! next time you spot 1 on ebay PM them direct & offer a price to end the auction early.
private sale & craigslist if you're quick are normally the cheapest options.

It's on ebay and therefore it will probably go large. We on this site are a small proportion of the people out there who have an interest in old bikes, we do not dictate the prices, market forces do that. I would love it if old bike kit was cheap, but it's very rarely that on ebay unless your after something increadibly obscure or find a badly listed item

As above... mail the seller, explain why it would mean so much to you and try and do a deal (which is how I got the Lloyd, although I may have ended up paying more than if let the auction run?), or bid large and win at all costs.

And therefore everyone will know that you had a chance to 'Buy it Now' for £495

Reminds me of a time someone bid on a turquoise King headset........

£495 IMHO would have been a bargin!! Glad I didn't see it

I know the feeling! The fact you may have just bought a bargain bike just doesn't seem to figure in the SO logic for some reason :?

Excuse my ignorance but what is so good about a Breezer? I am not being sarcastic just dont know anything about them, should one be on my want list?

Trevor.
