I called a friend and asked him if he wanted to sell his old RockHopper, he told me he wanted to keep it,but he would sell his other bike ...So I said "sure"...that was 5years ago.Well, last month I caught up with him and asked if he still wanted to sell his old bike...I finally got this...Brave Warrior in TEAM COLORS, Cook Bros crank/bottom bracket-Halson Forks (boots were falling apart)Xt drivetrain-ritchey logic front brakes- not sure what kind of rear brakes- mavic ma 40/xt wheelset/ rocket science bars/ smoke dart tires.Paint is near perfect/ no fading(hard to tell pics came out funky)After its detailed it should look nice.

Looks like a Teesdale build - check for TET stamped as part of the serial number. What makes you think it's a team colourway? Would love to see some team photos if you have them.

This is a reply to mrkawasaki...My friend who sold me the bike is friends with Doug Gloyd owner of Brave Cycles,when he purchased this frame,his second(his first frame was a 1989 Brave Warrior)he asked to have it painted the "team colors".This frame is 1992 or 1993.When he got this frame,he built it up with the old components from his 1989 build,that's why the parts aren't really period correct for the 1990's.I hopefully will get the original fork and stem, if my friend can find them in his storage.

The reason I ask is that I have one in the same colourway until we get to the headtube. Do you think the original forks on yours would have been dayglo pink too? The 'Warrior' decal is less warrior-like than yours too (maybe mine is later and they ran out??) - did you see whether it was a Teesdale-build?

Lovely bike - awesome price!!
The rear brakes are Chang Star - I have a set of the same as part of the original equipment on my 1996 Diamond Back Apex. Rare and relatively trick looking, if not truly high-end brakes.
