I think the V brake is an LX, the DX one was the same but red IIRC

You are probably right.

I was going by the series number though which is 600 or similar - I always thought the 6xx series was DX, and 5xx series was LX?

If anyone could verify for me I'll update the listing.

Brakes are definately LX (BRM 600's) not DX. DX only came in red.
