Brake lever advice...

I am possibly looking to flat bar my road bike...a couple of questions. What brake levers would work with the standard brake calipers (Shimano 105 early 90's)? And if I were to change the shifters would XT 7 speed thumb shifters work?

Cross top levers work well with 90s Shimano calipers. I use them on two of my bikes.

Thanks for that, so am I right in thinking that MTB canti brake levers would work ok? Also I have some 7 speed STI XT levers would they have the correct pull ratio?

I just use standard canti levers they work perfectly the thumbies should work too if the gears are Shimano
