Hi folks,

Quick Q….

I have a Kona that uses a ST mounted cable guide (under seat clamp) to route the cable to the canti brake.

All good so far…..

Thing is I use a V brake and through an arrangement of sorts use the cable guide – problem is its not very neat or powerful.

Could I use the V brake in a canti style way? I.E. remove noodle ( ) and just tension the cable between arms then use a canti hanger routed as it would be through the guide to pull the v brake arms?

Just a thought….

ummmm

no. in a word.

what i've done is use a cog hog in place of a V noodle. it eases the angle of bend between the seat-tube cable guide and the v-brake
