BR-M750 , XT parrallel action v brakes setup

I think the Avid spacer are the same.
I've got some here so I'll measure them.

I only seem to have one set of them on my brakes, I'm fairly sure it's the smallest one, so, both parts measure roughly 5mm.

Cheers for the measurement of the avid spacers, I'm going to get some anyway, and try them out along with adjusting the position of the brake pad , move it slightly nearer the tyre , might be enough to save a few mm, for every mm the pad moves the arm will move about 5mm

What's the measurement between the bosses (centre-centre)? They look close like Mr. Chicken implied :?

I've had rear stays ('91 DynaTech) that are too wide for Vs...

For the info, as far as I know Shimano's spacing was between 75 to 85 mm between bosses. Doesn't matter what eh target audience is.
Of course big fat rims being a target would mean you'll aim for 85mm I guess. Downhill ? BMX?

I would think thinner cyclocross rims you might possible aim for the 75mm end.
No doubt most RetroMTB are ~80mm
19mm wide rim mentioned is a narrow rim.

I'll probably have to go measure all of mine out of curiosity now

I'm no frame builder so maybe one of our resident builders will know the 1999-2003 frame specs

I've got everything from 77 to 90mm here, the only bike on Vs though is 83mm front and rear and sits well with the the thin spacers inwards on m951 parallel pushers.

Sadly the wide DynaTech isn't here to measure at the moment.
