Bottom Bracket bolt size

Am looking at buying bottom bracket bolts, but im measuring the bolt as 7mm wide size so is that M7 size bolt or not?

depends on the pitch too.halfords sell crank bolts.

Square taper BBs are M8 aren't they? :?

Standard crank bolts for a square taper BB are 8mm x 1mm. Most 8mm bolts for non-bike applications are M8 8mm x 1.25mm, so you can't just use any M8 bolts.

I think they've put up a picture that corresponds to 14/15mm bolts for ISIS or Octalink BBs, but if they're actually 8mm as described, they'll fit your square taper bottom bracket.
