Dont get me wrong, I like Eddies LOBO a lot, but lets not forget speedplays RTS as well! Now, IMO, the RTS revolutionised full-sus for the MTB industry and for the masses.

I know what you are saying but there are a lot of RTS's around I don't think a BOTM award should go to a bike because of what happened because it changed mountain biking. It's about what the owner of the bike now has done with there rig and what condition it's in and how good it looks if you win BOTM because your bike changed the full susser biking history then what's the point of entering. Eddies LOBO is the first one I have seen in that condition for years most of them cracked but this one looks in awesome condition a lot of hard work looks to have gone into that bike. Sorry but I do not agree with what you say about judging a bike on it's history it should be judged by what it's owner has done with it and how it looks speedplays RTS is nice but not quite in the same league is it :D  .

A lot of love for Eddie's GT, be intersting to see what happens when the poll opens. The thing about BOTM is that people judge it on their own criteria so it's not always the obvious favourite that walks away with the title.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of GT's post about 92 and I find it hard to treat any DH bike as being truly retro (no matter what year it was built)...But thats what's great about it, we're all different and BOTM reflects that fact..

It is one hell of a mix this month
DH, XC, Cross, Road; I cant wait to see them all lined up ready for voting :D

First off no offence was intended about your RTS it is a lovely bike without a doubt but what i was saying is I thought BOTM was about what peoples personal bikes look like and how well they are kept so on an so forth. Not about us having to vote for a bike purely because of what it did for mountain biking as it stands now if that is the case then it's stupid I mean come on credit where credits due.

And not to put too much of a point on it how often do you see these particular "Plastic bikes" rare as rocking horse poo I think.
