Just thought i'd share events with you over the last 12 hours. So i'm on an oil rig in the middle of the north sea somewhere. I'm on nightshift and i've got nothing to do. Whats next then? Get in front of the PC and spend some time scanning through just about everything on Retrobike including previous BOTMs', readers bikes, allsorts on auction watch, Repack Riders photo gallery (which is immense by the way), possibly every for sale and wanted ad for the last week! Checked out all the links and ended up joining another 2-3 forums. Had a wee scan over on bikepro at some bling bling stuff. Time well spent? Definitely. Sorted out the next few bike builds? I think so. Bank balance about to take another kicking. Definitely. Do i care? nah, I love it!

Did my bit on the Britannia from 29th December, got home on Monday 14th January.
Had some 12metre swells that made the barge feel like a rowing boat on a couple of days.
Straight out to the LBS on Tuesday morning to spend some of that Xmas bonus I was paid, the XP-8 has 185mm diameter rotors on it now and EA-70 xc handlebars are on the way.
The pain will stop soon when the parafin budgie will bring you back to terra ferma!
