How is yours Progressing mate...?

Hope to have heard from you by Now...?... 8)

Been very busy Carl, no excuse i know! I'll pm you later  As for the progress, Bonty is still not back yet though I reckon I have everything I need so shouldn't be long after it arrives until completion :D

headtube stepped or not? i don't know. but more important, for me it looks like 1 1/8".
this and the seatstays let me think this is a privateer.

Not at all convinced it has an 1 1/8 headtube.

From what i can see, it also has the adjusted crown on the rock shox judys.

Just in case You still have doubts, all the info you need is here on RetroBike, see the thread link below.

It isn't a Privateer, that is certain. The shape of the wishbone is slightly different on privateers, it is less rounded. The head tube looks to be machined and certainly doesn't look to be 1 1/8".

you're the guru. i never heard before, that there were race or race lites with non stepped seatstays. but i'm happy to learn.

ok, i step back, the steerertube looks more as 1" than bigger right now, the seatstayquestion, i learned today, is not a safe argument.
bontragers are like fruits from a wild tree, is what i'll keep in mind one more time. another reason to love them.

sinnerman, this khs looks like a 96 something downhillmonster. cool bike!

my khs' were my most ridden machines for a long time. one for the trouble one for the chill.
right now i'm stuck on my 98 if deluxe  a really lovely bike i bought from someone here around.

cheers mate
