(but I have a pair of iused wheels so may be of interest to someobudy)


Bontrager Select wheelset, front and rear, came on my Gary fisher Sugar 3, 2003.

Unused as I fitted disc brakes and wheels.

skewer weight in brackets.
F 808 g (58 g)
R 1058 g (64 g)

Obvioulsy in new condtiion, complete with skewers and rim tape.

No idea what they cost new or are worth now but would say equivalent to Shimano LX (£ 110)

For sale at £ 50 ovno plus postage.

I ran a set of these on my old commuter and they were a cracking wheelset... Good price IMO and I'm sure they were lighter than the quoted figures ??

weights obtained using digital scales that I assume are pretty accurate.

BTW: a forum member has first dibs on these.

I did reply* asking for payment via cheque; sent you details - my paypal is linked to my credit card so I cannot convert that into cash ... which I would like in order to pay a roofer for some work.


* hmmm, don't see my reply in my sentbox - I know I sent you the details but mobile broadband drops out frequently and it may have done on that occasion.
