Bontrager seat clamp -- SORTED!

related to the previous thread... Is it possible to get the seat clamp off a Race Lite? If so, what's the best way of achieving it? I considered the age-old trick of tapping it less and less gently with an adjustable spanner but thought I'd probably end up crying. :?

I've never examined one that closely. What' s stopping you prizing it open and removing it?

Done it! Didn't want to force it in case it wasn't meant to come off.
