late 90's/early 2000 Trek was making bmx style bikes with bontrager/gary fisher names to cash in on the x-games stuff iirc

my lbs had them running up and down the aisles 10 years ago

yes, I thought they were cool back then

just not highend or rare.

now, the cannondale bmx/cruiser from bitd...that's something you don't see often (mostly cause they all cracked, but still)
