bonfire night

Yeah, why celebrate someone being stopped from blowing up the houses of parliament, but seeing as fireworks are shipped as explosives, they should not be sold to the public.

Also we all hear about the amount of pollution in the air and how we must curb our production of pollutants, then we have bonfire night and fireworks, wonder how much crap goes into the air on that night and before.
 
Probably not as ouch crap as the world's aviation throws out every day.

One of my dogs really isn't bothered by them but the other goes mental. It's comforting to know that he isn't scared of them but clearly sees them as a threat to his back garden.
