Bolany - Are they a good brand?

My cassette has arrived. Taken 3 days to get here. Came well packaged. Weighs in at 320g, can't say how respectable that is. I ordered a pretty standard 9 speed, 11-32 tooth. Will have to wait and see how it runs once fitted.
Nice to see that it's held together with torx screws so can be disassembled for cleaning. All for £8.99 posted.

I wasn't impressed by those chains, you'll probably find it's lube-less, as opposed to Shimano/SRAM/Kmc etc that come with a greasy coating straight out of the box.
Shifter & mech though had nice crisp changes.

I’ll give the chain a bit of lube and see how I get on.

That second cassette has visible burrs as well. Are they using a knife and fork to carve them?
Probably the old tooling from another brand 😆
I've been trying to get a decent 1/8 20 tooth sturmey cog for a few years....they still haven't retooled! There's less chain saddle in the tooth profile than an 11 speed....

I've got one of those Sunshine big (50T) cassettes on one of my bikes. Thought I was getting a Sunrace as part of a group set but concede I may not have checked what I was getting thoroughly enough. It's lasted well (2 years) and shifts decently. Me no complain.
